“Once again we could handle the pressure of the
local fans and I am happy with the victory. Now
we have to prepare for tomorrow’s match against
United States. Today we worked with our serves
and our second offensive options were
positives,” said Paulo Barros, the Brazilian
coach.
Leyla Chihuan, the Peruvian captain, commented:
“There is not much to say. During the week you
all have seen what we have. We need to work
harder and with concentration. If not, we will
continue far away behind our opponents.”
